Little Acorns Long Island is a nature-inspired playgroup led by early childhood and Waldorf educator Maryjean Williams in Suffolk County, Long Island, New York.

Parents and children enjoy Little Acorns Long Island together, meeting at different locations in Suffolk County to enjoy a nature-inspired circle time, outdoor play, crafts, snack, Waldorf education style songs, and parent discussions.

  • Little Acorns Long Island is NOT a drop off playgroup; siblings and other family members are welcome in addition to the enrolled child, and a parent or guardian must be present at all times
  • Enrollment is for 10 sessions; sliding scale $250-500 per 10-week session at your discretion
  • 24 hour notice is required for cancellations in order to get credit for a makeup week at the end of the 10-week session
  • Other day/time/age range may be available; there must be a minimum of 3 enrolled families to open a new session
  • Sessions can be tailored to specific age ranges, ie: birth-age 3 or age 4-age 8
